I contacted Express Auto delivery to have my 58 Chevy Apache Antique truck (Mint Condition) moved from Pearland Texas to Florida. Express Auto Delivery is a transport broker whom intern contracted “Corban Certified Cargo and Storage, LLC" The scheduled pick up of my vehicle was 09-13-2007. My husband flew down to make sure the driver had access to the vehicles. I explained to them that the truck may or may not have any brakes because it had been sitting for over 8 years in storage which they assured me that it would not be a problem. My husband scheduled departure date was Saturday and had to extend an extra night because the carrier came late Saturday evening. The Driver whose name is Mr. Holiday seemed a little inexperience at moving antique vehicles but he as well assured my husband he could make the carry and stated if anything goes wrong rest assured we will take care of it. My husband had to hire two tow trucks which we had to pay for to load the 58 Truck on Mr. Holiday’s carrier because his carrier was not equipped with a wench. It was then 2:00 in the morning when we finally got to load the rest of my vehicles. Mr. Alex did not load the F-250 on the carrier properly which blew a seal and we had to wait until he could have the piston fixed before he could load the F-250. So my husband left 09/17/2007 the vehicles arrived on the 19th of September which is 6 days later than originally planned. Upon arrival Mr. Holiday instead of calling us to inform us he had arrived for delivery took it upon himself to just re-lease the parking brake on the 58 classic trucks which rolled down the top of the carrier and hit a tractor totaling the bed completely. Mr. Holiday called my husband and explained to him what had happen and that his company would take care of it. My Husband then called Express Auto Delivery who hired Corban for the move and explained what had happen they in turn directed him to Mr. M.W who is their Director, of Logistics and Process who is currently trying to find some sort of resolve in this issue. I obtained an estimate from a very reputable auto body center that specializes in antique vehicles which gave me a total of $7473.40. They sent the claim to Synergy Adjusting Corporation Mr . . . . B is the adjuster handling the case. My husband spoke to Mr. @ 9:47am 12/06/2007 he was informed that it was sent to underwriting for approval but the owner of the company whose name is Mr. H. McNeal (832-473-4793) decided he did not want to pay the deductible to have my 58 Chevy truck repaired. I am a veteran of the United states Air force soon to deploy and this is a travesty, bad customer service no integrity, rip off company and the thought that Mr. McNeal’s company is still operating on the highways of America is frightening.

I caution each and every one of you who may read this complaint to take heed. They are not a company of honest intentions.

If you have any suggestions on how to further make them own up to their responsibility please leave a comment.
