I found Cavalier Auto Transport on eBay even though I did not purchase the vehicle through eBay. They popped up as a Preferred eBay shipper. Contacted Maria Vecchio to transport a 1991 ford mustang on Monday. Maria quoted me a price of $850 which was several hundred dollars below other quotes I had received. She was very helpful and communicated the process to me. Tyra ( customer service rep) called me within an hour to help answer any questions I had. Tyra again called me on Tuesday and we had a shipper lined up in California by Wednesday. I paid Cavalier $150 on a credit card and was asked to pay the remaining $700 to Mike's Delivery Inc out of California in cash, money order or certified check at the time of delivery in Nebraska. Vehicle was picked up midday on Thursday and expected delivery on Monday. Got a call from Mike's dispatcher on Saturday he said they would be a day early. They let me know that Sunday would be the new delivery day between 12-4pm. Mike got here around 1:30 pm. Mike was early even though he dealt with bad snowstorms through Wyoming. It was a perfect door to door service. I enjoyed the whole process considering some of the reviews with various other companies made me nervous since this was the first time I had ever shipped a vehicle. I would certainly use Cavalier Auto Transport again and would love to use Mike's Delivery Inc as well. They made a great team which allowed a successful vehicle purchase happen without one problem.
