I have rated this company as excellent but the experience was unpleasant. After calling Cascade to accept their quote I was told that Kim would call me back to make arrangements. After 2 days of not hearing anything I returned the call and asked to speak with the manager. Jeff took care of setting up the shipping on 08/17 with an available pickup date of 08/31/10 and led me to expect this would be a routine pickup. I could expect my requested delivery date of between September 9-12 would be met barring unforeseen complications like the truck breaking down. Near the end of the month Kim told me they still had plenty of time to find a shipper. Emails from her were sent. Two days prior to us departing for Washington I called to get a status report. We still did not have a shipper. I spoke with Brenda who was pleasant and readily available by phone. She found a shipper that would do it for additional money but couldn't deliver until the 19th. On our departure date of 09/08 she found another shipper that could deliver on 09/14 for an additional sum. We accepted. Time had run out. The car did arrive on the 12th, however, so after a lot of headache and additional money things worked out. So why would I still rate this company highly? Cascade said they would split the "extra" fees with me and I feel that Brenda and Kim worked "overtime" when little time remained and our car did eventually arrive on time.

Edward, I am sorry if you feel the beginning of your experience was not what you expected. I did tell you that since we started looking a few weeks ahead of the first date available, that I may not get back to you for a week or so as we got closer to the date. We had the vehicle delivered in the time frame that you had requested however, so that all worked out. I wish the beginning of your experience would have gone better.
