After noting the generally positive reviews for Magic Carpet Auto Transport, I submitted a request to them for a quote for transporting a car from southern California to North Carolina. I received a quote from their affiliated company, Cascade Vehicle Shipping, which was neither the hghest nor lowest quote I had received from multiple other companies. I spoke with Jeff, who courteously and patiently answered all my questions. He promised that he or his colleagues would be available for any other questions I might have later, and he kept that promise.

I had requested a specific vehicle pickup date. About a week later, I received an email confirming that a carrier had been assigned and that the pickup date would be one day after my requested date, with delivery to NC in 7-10 days. The vehicle was picked up on schedule. As promised, Cascade did not access our credit card for it's share of the payment until after the carrier was definitely assigned.

During vehicle transit, I called Cascade to ask a question about paying the carrier. Jeff answered the phone promptly, but due to their computers being down temporararily, he was unable to answer my question, but said he would get back to me as soon as possible. The following day, the computers were running; I spoke to Jeff's colleague, who courteously and quickly answered my question, and confirmed other information about the vehicle's delivery. I also received an unsolicited and welcomed call from the carrier's driver about 24 hrs prior to delivery, to arrange final details of when & where we would meet.

Our vehicle arrived on time (total: 7 days) in good condition and with no problems. Overall, the process was surprisingly easy and painless. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to others.
