Problem in transport

I requested transport on a Monday. The desired pick-up would be the following Monday thru Wednesday as would be convenient for the carrier. I was not contacted by a driver to arrange the pick-up and called the Monday to determine if I had missed a call. On Tuesday I was notified that the car would be picked-up Wednesday and this would be confirmed by the driver. Late Wednesday, after several call to Cascade about no driver contact I was told that the driver had cancelled the pick-up because he was going to Austin and the delivery was Pflugerville which adjoins Austin. I was given a contact with another driver who was returning from Texas with deliveries at Jacksonville. He would pick-up my car, drive to Jacksonville to unload the other cars on the carrier, then add cars to deliver to Texas. He expected to arrive in Tallahassee in the Thuirsday morning and pick-up my car and another from a local dealer. I was up at 6:00 AM to meet him at a convenient pick-up location. After numerous phone calls about brake repairs, starter problems, etc., he drove into the meeting place at 7:30PM. I didn't care when the car would be delivered, a day or two here and there didn't matter. I just wanted the car to be safe. The next call was the next Monday (one week after my earliest pick-up date). One week after he had picked-up my car, it was delivered directly to an auto body shop for repairs. I do have limited visitation rights for the next three weeks.

Charles, Again, I am so sorry that the first trucking company didn't come through. And then I again am sorry that the second trucking broke down for 24 hours. You did know what was going on at all times, but I'm sorry that there were so many problems with the trucking companies. If there was something I could have done, I would have.
