This was my first experience in transporting my vehicle across the country. I googled auto transport and started to read customer ratings about the various companies. The one company that stood out from the rest was Cascade Transport in Washington. Nearly every review was positive and the price seemed reasonable. Within minutes of contacting them via email I started to receive communication from them. Brandi was my person of contact and then during the transport of my vehicle I stayed in touch with Don, who manages the driver of the transport. The driver was Chris and when he picked up my car in Washington, my family said he sounded stressed out. Well, my car was out in the boondocks at my folks house and thankfully my son was there to drive my car to Chris. Turns out, Chris drives an open transport truck that is very long and difficult to manuever in narrow streets. My son said that when he met Chris he was a personable young man but it was late at night and dark and he was stressed trying to pick up cars and still stay on schedule. Nonetheless, my car was on its way to Louisiana. I then had contact with Don, the owner of the transport and Chris, the driver. They kept me informed where the car was during the last day or two of its actual arrival. When I received the phone call that he was coming into town, Chris wanted me to meet him in an open area. I did not fully understand why he couldn't just drive it down my street here, it definitely was more open than where he picked it up from. He insisted that his truck was unable to make tight turns. It was late at night and we decided to meet up the street at the local shopping mall. When I got to the mall, I could not believe the size of the rig. It was the length of a football field. It was fully loaded with about 10 cars, and Chris had to unload cars to get to mine. Each car is carefully loaded and unloaded, chained and secured. Wow, what a huge responsibility that young man has. I was worried about my Lexus, well he had other expensive, luxury and collector vehicles on board as well. I expected the car to be dirty because I remember reading it in the reviews, but other than the dirt my car looked great! No damage and considering it came across the country on an open transport I was very pleased. I spent about 3 hours washing the car the next day but it was well worth it, the car looks and runs great! I highly recommend Cascade, thank you!
