I was happy to get my car shipped to Hawaii. The Matson terminal opened at 8am, when my contact had told me 7am, and this caused my schedule to be very tight, as my flight out was at 9am. Fortunately, I had already checked in so I only had to go to my gate. Matson's front office person was late, so another employee expedited my check in. I didn't receive the proper paperwork until I requested it from my contact.

Upon arrival, the lady at the Matson office didn't have a "name" for who was picking up the car, but fortunately I had my proof of insurance that had my VIN# and name on it, and I showed her my ID and I was all set. The car was understandably filthy, but it soon rained and it was all clean. I closed the vents in the car (and pushed the button for recirculate) before I handed over the car and I'm glad I did because my husband had dirt inside his car too, and I didn't. I have not yet been able to scrape Matson's yellow pen marks off my windshield and back window. Overall, I was satisfied, though there were some very tense events to get through.
