Poor Door to Door Service

Overall I was pleased with the Cascade. My car arrived to me within the average time indicated on their website and in the same condition as I had left it with them. However, I was not fully satisfied with the pick-up of my vehicle. While Door-to-Door service is advertised, it isn't always possible for a variety of valid reasons which include a lack of available road space near your home that would fit a vehicle as large as the truck used to transport your car. In which case pick up is usually arranged in a public area near your home such as a large parking lot. Not even close in my case. The trucker called me and said he only lived a couple of miles away from me (implying we were in the same neighborhood) and would drive to my home and lead me back to his home while I followed him in my car. It was hardly a couple of miles, and more like 10. It wasn't even close to door-to-door service. I had to drive my car about 10 miles to load it onto his truck for delivery even though there was a train station with an enormous vacant parking lot right across the street from me. Apparently the trucker didn't want to drive his truck 10 miles to pick up my car. So don't believe them when they advertise door-to-door delivery. And avoid Road Hog Auto Transportation service XXXthe truck who lied to me. If Cascade books them to deliver your car, ask for someone else.

Douglas, Cascade apologizes for Road Hog not provided door to door service. They should have accomodated you a little closer to your home if they could not get their truck into your neighborhood. We are sorry.
