This is the first time I have used a contract carrier to move a vehicle. My vehicle was treated well in transit and I received it within 24 hours of the projected delivery date so I consider that part of the experience a success.
I do have one big suggestion for improvement. I believe the company rep should be in daily contact with the customer, be it email or phone, from the date of acceptance of the bid. I did not receive that type of committment and was left in the dark much of the time. This may not have been such a problem except there was a significant delay (well over a month) in finding a carrier for my vehicle and unless I or my wife called, we received no information or updates from the company. Once a carrier was found, I received regular contact from the company.
My hope is that I will not ever be in a situation where I have to use a contract carrier again but if I have to, I would be willing to at least entertain an offer from Cascade again.
