Rebecca and Cascade were absolutely wonderful. We shipped a car from New Jersey to Oregon and they were with us every step of the way. Rebecca answered all our questions and went out of her way to make sure things were done, parties were contacted, and our concerns were addressed. When issues arose Rebecca made sure they were taken care of as expeditiously as she could. Really could not have asked for a better experience with Cascade. HOWEVER, the driver was another story. The trucking company (not associated with Cascade to the best of my knowledge) was absolutely terrible. Anatolian, LLC out of Merrit Island, FL was contracted for the position. They showed up at the house and said they could not load the car on the street and we needed to go to a local parking lot to load the car. On the way there the driver got out of his truck in the middle of the road and yelled at a local driver, holding up traffic and making a scene. Following this, after the driver had loaded the car, he had informed us in casual conversation that he had been in three accidents in the past year, but he would have had our car in Portland by Thursday or Friday the following week. Once in Oregon, Wednesday came and I had called Cascade to get an update on the driver who informed Cascade and myself that he had been arrested in New York for a previous ticket and his license was apparently thought to be suspended but was ok now. The driver stated that he would be there one week late which was a problem because now we would not be able to meet him in Portland and needed the car delivered in Corvallis. The driver agreed but said that he would need another $150 to deliver to Corvallis. We had already paid an extra $400 to expedite the transportation, which was a service we were not getting because he was arrested. I called Rebecca at Cascade who was very sympathetic to our situation and she called the trucking company. The trucking company then proceeded to refuse to discount our shipping any more than the extra $150 to deliver to Corvallis which we had no choice but to agree to. Long story short, the car was delivered ONE WEEK late and at 1:30AM which is completely unacceptable considering we paid to have it expedited to begin with. Cascade shipping company was great, as for the trucking company, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
