After looking up the reviews to various car shipping companies, I settled on Cascade shipping. My first point person was Rebecca. I asked her about a thousand questions of how the process worked and she was very honest about the business. I was moving from New York to California and had no idea where to begin with selecting a company. Rebecca ran down a list of things I should look for when selecting someone to ship my car. At the end of our first conversation, I asked her if I could decrease my quote price and she said that was fine but drivers might ask me to increase my bid. She was very forth coming about how that might effect someone picking it up. I called rebecca a few days later and sealed the deal.My pick-up was a little tricky (I was having it shipped from the dealer, not from my house). So Rebecca was able to get the truck driver to give me a really great heads up when he was coming so I could make my way down to the dealership. Overall, dealing with Rebecca was such a god-send. She really did elevate so much stress.
The only hick-up happened once the car got to California. The driver had passed my car onto to someone else once it got to CA. I got a call about 4 days before the delivery date asking if they could drop it off but I wasn't even in California yet. Once I did get there, it was late because the new driver had (for some reason) driven it to Arizona sometime that week WITH MY CAR?? Once he actually did get to my house, the car was in good shape but I was still a little annoyed. Rebecca was also very annoyed and I'm sure she did everything in her power to rectify what happened. Thanks again!
