I requested many on-line shipping quotes and only Cascade advised me to read this review site. They are properly deserving of their excellent reputation for customer service and final result. Note that car shipping is not an exact science and there can be issues along the way, that's why you need a transport company that has excellent customer representation knowledge, skills and contacts.
My customer representative at Cascade was named Zanner. I requested a short notice auto shipping with pick-up on Mon 8 Oct, which was confirmed the previous Friday for a price of $535. I paid the deposit by credit card and got a money order for the balance to give to the driver upon delivery. I was later advised the Mon pickup had to be cancelled because the shipping driver could not prove he had the proper insurance.
Cascade reduced their commission and allowed a little more for the new driver as an incentive for a quick pick-up! The pickup was rescheduled for the next day, Tue 9 Oct. The shipping driver was courteous and professional. Communication with the driver was excellent as he called me several times before pickup and called my father at the destination end several times before delivery. We knew where the car was and what was going on!
The delivery was scheduled for Thu 11 Oct about 10pm, but the driver called to say he was delayed and would deliver Fri morning. My father met the driver at a local landmark and the driver followed to the house and drove the car into the garage.
Cascade and Zanner know what they are doing when it comes to auto transport. They know how to select a properly qualified driver and how to keep the customer informed.
