Unrealistic Quote

I contracted with them at their quoted price of $575. No trucking company would pick up the car for less than $950 (total cost was $1075 with brokerage fee). The trucking co said that car shipment prices are posted on a board and all brokers know the rates. No company would have hauled the car for $575. Cars-R-Us obviously quotes low prices to get the business. The actual trucking company was very good - I only have a problem with the broker, Cars-R-Us. Very friendly and courteous - just dishonest about the actual cost. I paid double the contracted cost.

Ms. Putnam, your vehicle took a few extra days to pickup..At the time you placed your order I went over the options with you on pricing regarding a faster pickup you said you were not in a RUSH.. I am unfortunate that it did cost more to get your vehicle shipped.. Since the Diesel prices changed from the time you placed your order a month earlier the drivers are paying higher fuel cost..
