The whole process of shipping my car was easy. I told them I wasn't in a hurry but they picked up the car within a day. I was informed by email and a phone call when the carrier picked up the car and when he was expecting to deliver it. The night before the delivery the driver called to give me a 3 hr window when he expected to be in town. AMAZING! I wish the cable company could do this. Then Mark called again when he was within 30 minutes of arriving at my front door.

When he arrived I was impressed by his careful attention to unloading my car, taking care to not scrape the exhaust system or the front air dam. The driver also informed me what to watch for should I ever need to transport my VW again. He explained often times wrecking companies chain the front ends of VW's to the suspension but this will damage the suspension. The only way is to tie the front end down using the whole wheel. VW's have hooks in the back but not on the front. I'll remember this in the future.
