On April 29 I sent a request through a website to several transport companies to have my car shipped from CA to GA. I received several quotes and based on the follow up and cost, I decided to book with Capital. I informed Andy that I needed to be able to pay the full amount of the transport cost with my credit card, which I know is not normal practice for most of these companies, but I thought by being up front we could arrange it or I could be on my way to the next company. Andy informed me that it should not be a problem arranging payment in full with credit card. After looking at other quotes and speaking with Andy, I decided to book with him before he confirmed that I could pay the full balance with a credit card. On May 2, I was charged a deposit/broker fee of $150 plus a $4.95 fee to use my credit card with a tentative pick up on May 5. On May 3, I e-mailed Andy to find out if he had confirmed that I would be able to use my credit card to pay the remaining balance and if not, I would need to cancel my reservation (keep in mind, I am planning on leaving CA on May 6). I sent several e-mails on May 3 without response. On May 4 Andy e-mails me to tell me he will contact me that day to confirm if I would b able to pay with a credit card or not. At that point, I was tired of waiting for a response, so I responded to his e-mail to cancel my reservation immediately. See conversation below.
Please cancel my pick up and refund my deposit immediately.

Needless to say, to this day (15th business day), our refund has NOT been processed even though I have several e-mails from Andy stating it's been processed and I even received a voicemail from their "accounting" department yesterday saying she had JUST processed it and it would be in my account today, NOPE! I feel I have been more than patient and/or understanding at this point. I would never recommend doing business with Capital or Andy Banks. Pay more somewhere else and DO NOT let them process your credit card unless you are SURE everything is handled and booked correctly...and have EVERYTHING in writing.
