I had seen quotes from 800-1200$ for the move from Indiana to California. After trying another company first for 885$, and getting worked over for 190$ more, after signing the contract, I canceled and decided to do my homework. I searched transportreviews.com, and the BBB. Wish I had done that first. I narrowed it to a few, but went with Capitol. They charged 935$. Andy was amazingly honest and up front. So much so, that it almost scared me. At the first sign of of a possible delay from our arranged carrier, All Points Auto, he went looking for another, but passed on a new one with no history. The original carrier came through anyways. We encountered some difficulties at the pickup, caused by us, and Andy was all over the phone, making sure it worked out. The carrier took 7 days to get out here, instead of the 5 he quoted, but it did not cause us any grief. We had a little trouble getting hold of the driver or CAT over the weekend, but made contact before the car arrived. It arrived in good condition, and the driver was good to work with. I would definetly use this company again.
