GA to WA Auto Shipment

Customer service was friendly and helpful at the booking stage, and I was very happy with the quote for the car shipment - $1,300 from GA to WA. Unfortunately, on the first day of the four-day window for pickup, I was told that the driver would request more money ($50). While this isn't a huge amount, it seemed strange to request that after getting my credit card information and signing a contract agreeing on a price. What is the point of a contract if the price will them get raised? I politely requested that we stick to the agreed upon price, and Browns Auto Transport agreed.

From there, I was unable to get a confirmation about even what day the car would get picked up. On Monday, I was told it would be Tuesday. On Tuesday morning, I was told it would be later that afternoon. Finally, on Thursday, I was told that they wouldn't be able to make the cut-off time (as agreed upon) at all. Luckily, I was flexible enough to stay later, and the car was picked up around 9pm at night.

Once the vehicle was picked up, the trucking company did a great job of staying in contact, sticking to deadlines and being really helpful wherever possible. However, I don't think I would recommend or work with Brown's Auto Transport again, especially if I was on any kind of a deadline.

Hi Vanessa, Thank you for your review. We do appreciate your opinions but I am alittle confused as to why you would say that you would not use Browns Auto Transport again when we were the ones to stay on top of everything. From start to finish Kyle and I were the ones to make sure we were the ones to hit your deadline and make sure to stay on top of the driver and Fito Truckings dispatch to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible since we knew you were flying out. The trucking company whom you are praising now is the one who called to request the extra $50.00. We explained this in the beginning. That money was not for us. They were the ones to continue to be delayed day after day and all we have to go off of is their word when we call you to give you updates on the pickup time. On the day the vehicle was actually loaded from you Kyle and I both stayed at the office almost 2 hours late to make sure that the vehicle was loaded and that there was not any problems because we were told by you that you would be on a plane that evening. We went above and beyond on your order. Also, I personally spoke with you yesterday as your vehicle was being delivered and not once did you express any concerns this entire process. I am very sorry that you feel this way and I wish that there was a way to go back and "redo" this but I feel like we did everything correct in this situation. Again, thank you for your review. Jam'e
