It was made clear to the customer that the driver requested the $450 due to the area in Georgia (Roswell, Not Atlanta) that the vehicle was being delivered. It had nothing to do with weekend vs weekday delivery. In regards to her comment about the contract...I explained to her that the agreement that she signed was not guaranteeing the pick-up and delivery dates and that there is no way for us, as a broker, to guarantee dates. It is based on the driver's availability. We did everything we could to get her vehicle delivered on her birthday, but the driver was not available at that particular time. I apologize for the inconvenience, but the driver's schedule did not coincide with the customer's expectations.
