Some Communication Breakdowns

My car arrived safely and without a scratch, so I would use Bears Transport again. However, I did not experience the level of communication that other reviewers did. I was told I would get a call from Bears Transport 24 hours before my car was picked up to give me the time window. This call did not materialize. I had to speak with the trucking company fellas (very nice guys from Transporter) myself the DAY OF pickup. Thank goodness they were able to call me an hour before they showed up so I could get home from work in time.

Then, I gave very specific instructions to Bears Transport about when I would be able to receive my car. Even though I arrived in Washington state on Monday night, I was clear that I would not be in town to receive the car until WEDNESDAY due to my work schedule. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from the trucking company on TUESDAY to ask me where I was. Since I was at my brand new job 45 minutes away, it was quite an inconvenience to leave early. The Transporter gentlemen were kind enough to wait until I got home around 7:00 p.m. to deliver my car. They said they had not been informed explicitly of my scheduling needs and were apologetic, but had to be in Portland the next day.

Overall, the staff at Bears Transport was friendly. If you have difficult scheduling needs, though, be aware of communication issues and be prepared to have to do much of that work yourself.

Adrienne- We apologize you feel that you did not receive 5 Star service from Bears Transport. All scheduling needs were communicated to the carrier prior to dispatching and also on the dispatch sheet. We advise you as we do all customers to call us 24 hrs ahead of each p/up and/or delivery to check the status of your vehicle. We appreciate your business and hope to be able to offer you 5 Star Service as other customers have received , in the future.
