I was really nervous about shipping my car after all the horror stories I had read online. I used BT Express and they were very helpful in answering all my questions (and I had a lot of them). They contracted the move out to Ark Transportation and my car was actually picked up the night before I said it would be first available and delivered to my new address in less than 1 week. I actually had to have them delay in delivering it by one day because it ended up beating me there. They did this with no additional charge to me.
The car arrived with no damage although as I would expect it was very dirty (but I would think it would be even if I had driven it from upstate NY to San Diego myself). The only complaint I would have is that when the picked up my car they asked if they could drive it to the "big" truck and when I asked how far they said no more than 5 miles. When I got my car (delivered on the "big" truck at my new address) it had 40 miles put on it.
