A not so good experience....

On January 2nd I contacted BT Auto transport for the delivery of a car from Ft Myers FL to Annapolis MD. The initial contact was efficient and was told on the phone that my car will be picked at the Fort Myers Dealer location on January 8th with a confirmed delivery in Annapolis on January 16th in the afternoon or January 17th in the morning.

BT Autotransport requested $1,500 for this service + an additional $60 for inssurance fees and others. Payment was requested immediatelly and I paid with my credit card.

On January 9th I contacted the FT Myers Dealership asking if the car was picked up the answer was no, I then contacted BT Auto which told me not to worry guaranted the car will be picked up on the same day.
I called the FT Dealer apologizing and advised him that the car will be picked-up in the afternoon.

On January 10th I called again the make sure that the car was finally picked-up. I told again that no the car was still there. Called BT Auto transport again which came up with all sorts of excuses as to why the car was not picked-up, with the promisse this time it will be picked up on Monday guaranted.

Called on Monday and the car was still not picked-up, by now I lost my sence of humor and called BT Transport, they apologize one more time told me not to worry the car will still be delivered on time etc...

To make a long story short the car was finally picked-up on Tuesday...

On Thursday January 15th evening (7:00 pm) I received a phone call from a car transporter, asking me as to when I wanted the car delivered, you can imagin my surprise.... The car was still in FT Myers.....

I told the transporter that I absolutelly need this car for January 17th in the morning, that I paid a lot of money to get this car delivered on time, etc.. I was told on the phone that the car will depart FT Myers on Friday January 16th at 10:00 am and cannot guarantee that the driver will make it in Annapolid before 5 to 6 pm the next day January 17th.

I was also told that if I want my car I need to be ready with $900 in cash for the driver, due to the fact that they (The Transporter) does not have a credit history with BT Auto Transport.

I then managed to conference the Transported and BT Auto transport on the phone to try to get a resolution, it was an ugly phone call where the transporter and BT Auto Transport where going at each other, me being in the midle of this mess. In order to get this issue resolved I mandated from BT Auto Transport to credit my Credit Card for the amount and confirmed to the transporter that I will have the $900 ready for the driver.

The car was finally delivered in Annapolis on Saturday morning, the driver drove the entire night (Non Stop) from Florida to Maryland, I gave him the $900 a tip as he made my day.....

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BT Auto Transport to Anyone.....
