I had shipped my car in 2009 using Wise Auto Ship, which later became Autoline Transport. Having had a decent experience the first time, I chose to use the same company even though it was under a new name. I was starting a new job out of state and needed to ship my car. I was under a time constraint and explained this to Heidi Hill, the sales representative. She said that she understood and would list the first available pick up day with a 4 day window appropriate for my required time, quoting me at $750. My pick up date came, and went, and I called several times and was given the assurance that my car would be picked up within the next couple of days, with at least a day's notice in order to ensure someone would be available to hand over the keys. Three days after my 4 day window passed, I received a call from Heidi saying that the car could be picked up same day, but with a new price of $1,049. A $300 increase even though the company was already a week late. Upset, but desperate to get my car shipped, I agreed to the price, but was unable to hand over the keys the same day. Heidi gave me attitude and told me that it was my fault that I tried to ship during busy season. My mistake for expecting what I was told. I asked for some concession on the $300 increase, considering how late the pick up was and how off the price quote had been. Heidi told me to email her manager, Nathan Hunt. I have sent him 5 emails with no response. Long story short, I am currently 14 days past the pick up window, and had to leave my car in storage in Florida. I still have no response from Nathan Hunt, and have not heard from Heidi Hill about whether my car will ever be picked up by a carrier. I am disgusted and appalled at the level of service and lack of communication.
