I used the transport reviews site to find and contact several companies.

Several said it might take weeks to find a truck going from Philadelphia to LA, especially "this time of year". Others were vague about timing.

Then I called Autozipper. Autozipper is not a trucking company. Instead, Brian makes the arrangements for you and acts as a go-betweeen. He found a company (Ace Auto Trans) with a quick pickup and the price was comparable to other quotes. Brian arranged for them to store the car a few days because it arrived in LA before we did. (no extra charge) and was always available by phone to answer questions.

We had no problems and would use Autozipper again.
