Moving Lexus from CA to FL

We needed to move my 91 year old mother-in-law and her car, a Lexus, from California to Florida. She was not able to do a "road trip" so the only option was to have the car shipped. I began the arduous task of fielding quotes. I ended up with 12 quotes from various auto shippers. I eliminated 3 from the beginning because they would not respond to me in a timely manner. The remaining 9 were researched on-line to find any reviews of service, etc. I ended up choosing AutoStar Transport & Logistics, even though they were the most expensive qoute I received at $875.00, primarily because Brittney Giberson was very prompt with replies to my calls and my emails. I also found AutoStar to have the highest overall rating by customers of the 9 companies I researched. Once the decision was made to contract with AutoStar, everything went like clock work! Brittney emailed the contract, I signed it and FAXED it back along with a credit card deposit. The balance was not due until delivery. We were given a date with a 3 day window for the pick-up. The driver called the day before pick-up to co-ordinate the time and exact location of the vehicle. It was carefully loaded on the truck and arrived at our door in Florida 6 days later! The driver called us the night before and told us he would be delivering the car the next day. The car was as pristine on delivery as it had been in California! I could not have been more pleased with the service I received and will definitely be calling AutoStar Transport & Logistics if I ever need another car moved. I have already recommended AutoStar to two friends.
