My vehicle originated in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was delivered near my home in Louisville, Ky. My street is not accessible to large trucks so the driver made the delivery to a nearby location. Autostar coordinated the pre-shipping information, the shipper from the port in San Juan, and the truck transport from the port in Jacksonville, Fl. Shipping a car from PR is not difficult, but there are some essential PR hoops to jump through as far as the needed official documentations and certifications. I was fully prepared based on the requirements I was made aware of by Autostar. As far as price, they were more than competitive - much less, actually. The intangible was the customer service, though. Any time I contacted them by phone or through email, I had a prompt response. I actually had no difficulty whatsoever and if I need this type of service again, I will use Autostar. There are seemingly dozens of companies to choose from and it does take a leap of faith to start the process and choose one. One of the reasons I did choose them was there prompt attention to my shipment from quote to questions to holding my hand and to ultimate delivery.
