We were in a time crunch and I had been promised by another carrier that they would be able to do the job for us in the time limit we desired. We gave them a deposit and after days of waiting for a truck and being told that the "Drivers did not want to pick up in California" then the drivers "Did not want to go to Maine" where the car was going, we started looking for another carrier. One of the carrier's was Autostar. They immediately started working with me to locate an enclosed truck. Their timeliness and customer service was excellent. I told them about the car we were transporting and the care we desired for the car. And more importantly the reason why we wanted the car in Maine by a certain date. Five hours from the time I made my first contact with Autostar a truck picked the car up. The cost was a little more then the other company but we got quality service. (And who knows if the other companies would have even picked up the car with all the run around we got.)
When they were loading my car and I saw some of the other vehicles he was carrying I was very impressed that several other people had entrusted their vehicles to Autostar and the transport that was handling them.
The car arrived safely in Maine on the day that we were told with no problems. The car received quality treatment and everything was on schedule. I would certainly use Autostar again because of their professionalism and the care they gave my car. I rate them as "Excellent."
