Door to door?

Overall we're very happy with the service, but we're now not too sure what door-to-door means. The carrier hired by AutoStar called us on the day of the pickup saying that they cannot come pick up the car because the roads are too narrow. What's worse, they also added that they had told us the day before about this issue. We are very sure they did not mention this! A few days before this, AutoStar did tell us that narrow roads could be a problem, so we arranged the car to be picked up at work rather than at home. The carrier apparently did not double check the pickup location until the day of the pickup. We had already structured that whole day based on this (going to the airport, etc.), so this change would have been very inconvenient for us. After some calls, the driver agreed to take a cab to pick up our car at the originally agreed upon location. So, it was all good in the end, but only after a few hours of headache.
