We are very sorry to hear that there was some alleged damage done to the vehicle. The customer reported the alleged damage a full 8 days after delivery. It is very clear in the contract that damage must be reported within the first 24 hours. This is to the customers advantage that they report damage within the first 24 hours, or else it becomes increasingly difficult to prove that damage was not sustained after delivery while in the possession of customer. Despite this fact, we still chose to initiate a first response to the customer with items that are needed to proceed with a damage claim. IE, photos, estimates, inspection sheets, etc. To this date, nothing has been provided to us. Considering the fact that the vehicle in question is 46 years old, my guess would be it was not in pristine condition to begin with! Also, customer claims the price was raised is just another misrepresentation of the facts. Customer booked his order with us for a total price of $1150, which is exactly what customer paid. NOT a penny more! And yet another falsity, customer had has car picked up on EXACTLY the first available date, and delivered in three days from MA to WI, which is actually ahead of normal delivery times for that route. We are terribly sorry the customer feels the need to disparage our company and the 5 star service we provide day in and day out to hundreds of satisfied customers.
