Our sincerest apologies to the customer that this order did not go as planned. The order was booked nearly two months in advance going from Hawaii to Newport, RI. By the time the vehicle was actually shipped to the mainland in CA, prices had increased dramatically for the land route portion. We had tried to manage this one better, and will continue to improve our services to avoid situations like this in the future. We offer no excuses other than the rising fuel costs and newly implemented CA laws that place costly restrictions on carriers emission controls. Also, we wish the carriers could drive to everyones front door, but unfortunately with large trucks such as these there are areas where it is simply impossible. We wish the customer well.
