Though we do appreciate everyone's feedback, we also appreciate feedback that is accurate. To set the record straight, Mr. Bellon asked his agent at AutoStar to confirm and screen a carrier for his transport PRIOR to booking the order. In essence, his agent worked for him for free outside of any contract or any payments taking place, and with no commitment from Mr. Bellon. Mr. Bellon asked to view a copy of a preliminary contract while this search took place.
Once a carrier was located that was willing to go 220 miles off his route to retrieve Mr. Bellon's vehicle near the Mexican border in AZ, final price and delivery location were arranged between the carrier and Mr. Bellon, and the updated, final contract was sent to the client. Mr. Bellon agreed to meet the carrier in the Philadelphia area at their terminal, but as the delivery date approached, Mr. Bellon contacted AutoStar and categorically denied any such arrangement had been made. Quality control then located the recorded conversation in which Mr. Bellon did indeed agree to meet the carrier, at which point Mr. Bellon suddenly no longer wished to discuss the matter. AutoStar contacted the carrier to see what could be done in terms of finding a local truck to deliver to Mr. Bellon, in order to try and satisfy his wishes. Mr. Bellon did not answer the calls, nor return the voice mails of AutoStar from that point forward, but chose to deal directly with the carrier for the final arrangements of delivery.
We are sorry Mr. Bellon feels as he does, however, this transport took place EXACTLY as arranged and agreed to by Mr. Bellon from the very beginning. We wish Mr. Bellon the best.
