I originally got several quotes from different companies but i went with AutoStar for the price and how curtious they were. I received a quote for $575 dollars which when i contacted the company a week or so later i was told that it can still be done for that price. I signed a contract that stated that amount but after some time had passed i received a call a few days before the car was supposed to be picked up informing me that they could not get the car shipped for that price. If i had more time i would have tried to contact transporters myself but by the time i received the call i was already traveling and could not spend the time calling different carriers to get my vehicle shipped. I had no choice but to pay $200 dollars extra to have my vehicle shipped. I ended up having to sign another contract and my vehicle was picked up a couple of days later. I am not very happy with this extra expense because i have a very strict budget right now since i am moving out of state with my 3 week old son, 2 year old daughter and my wife so $200 dollars is a big deal to me. I will say that Sam, who was the agent that i worked with, appolijized for what happed and was very curtious throughout the whole time.

We are very sorry to hear that Andrew felt as if he were forced into paying a higher than quoted amount to have his vehicle transported, when it was actually Andrew who requested to expedite the order, so that the vehicle could be delivered by a certain date. Andrew had originally opted for our budget rate of $595 which comes with a 10 day window for pickup which we would have fulfilled, but on the first available pickup date, he opted for our expedite service which got his vehicle picked up and delivered in the time frame of his choosing. Here at Autostar we appreciate the hard times, and do offer budget rates to all our customers who have some flexibility in transporting their vehicles, as well as expedite service for those who need it.
