I talked with a number of shippers before originally selecting Magic Carpet. I selected them based on the number of reviews and also the price quote. The car was posted with no movement, I found out that Magic Carpet was going to charge me $1050 and had it posted low on the dispatch board at $675 to the driver. They were trying to get $375 off of the deal. They slowly raised the price on the board up to $1050 before contacting me and saying we would have to probably go higher. I had told Autostar to keep looking for me since Magic Carpet wasnt getting the job done. A few days later Autostar contacted me with a driver and day. I told them yes and placed the order. Not more than an hour later Magic Carpet called and told me they had a driver and day (same driver and day as Autostar) for $1440. So to make it clear, what Magic carpet wanted to charge me $1440 for, Autostar got for $1050. I later found out that Magic Carpet compensates you $30 for a positive review. No wonder they had so many.

Unfortunately, there are a number of companies in this industry who are more interested in receiving a high deposit than helping move your vehicle at a fair rate. We at Autostar make it a priority to provide great service at a realistic and cost efficient price. We always work hard to find quality carriers for less.
