I sigend up for a qote on a website and got a whole lot of quotes. I read some reviews and hear saw that auto star transport was supposed to be very good. I did not have the greatest experience with this company. I got a quote of $1000. I agreed to the charges and expected my car would be picked up within 5-10 days like it stated. It never happened. I followed up to see what was going on. No one called me to let me know what was going on. I was told that the quote was too low and I should add $50 to the quote to get my car shipped. I reluctanctly agreed. My car was finally picked up after about 2.5 weeks. Once the car wa finally picked up it delivered fairly quickly but hte car was filthy. I guess this should be expected when shipping across country. I would not use this company again or refer anyone to this company. I don't know how they got the high rating. Maybe i am the exception to the rule?

The exception to the rule, that is a great way of putting it. Even though we managed to get your car shipped quickly in the end, admittedly, finding a high quality carrier within your stated budget and contending against an ever changing market was a challenge. We did communicate via email only, as per your request, and I am glad that you agreed to a realistic price that was able to give us what we needed to get your car moved! Overall, we appreciate your responsiveness and I am sorry that your experience was so unlike the vast majority of our satisfied customers.
