I used auto transporters nationwide based on their reviews on this site and they did not let me down. I wanted my car picked up as close as possible to the move date so that I could run errands while I packed my household goods around Jan 2011. As the move date drew closer and my car wasn't assigned a driver, I begin to grow a litte nervous that my car might not get picked up and I began to make arrangements to leave my car with friends as I was planning to fly out soon. But Maria was very reassuring and everything worked out very clutch. I got a driver a day before my scheduled day and the car arrived in boulder (2000miles) only 3 days later. The only minor complaint I had is that the driver didn't give me a 24hr advance notice but called just couple of hours before which was a minor inconvenience as it happened right in the middle of movers packing my home stuff. Also for future car owners please keep enough cash handy to pay the truck driver as they don't take credit cards or personal checks, This is clearly spelt out in some paper work I signed but I thought I would repeat the same. Also please check with your auto insurance if your car is covered while in transport. Because as per the documents I signed while I handed my car to be loaded in the truck neither the truck driver or the broker is liable for any damages. The truck driver is not liable even if the tie that secures the car to the truck gives away.
