I am sorry if you misunderstood. Let me clarify a few things. The average time to find a carrier is 1-10 business days. You had wanted your vehicle picked up on the 15th and delivered the 17th which is next to impossible. You them opened up the dates for pick up to the 12th.. and want delivery by the 17th. We continued looking for a carrier for you. A carrier did call in and counter offer our rate. It is up to you if you would like to take it, counteroffer or decline. We were texting and you replied no. We then asked if you wanted to cancel or counteroffer or keep looking knowing that your dates may not be met. Since we have no guarantees we are willing to do any of those options. You then stopped communicating with us, so I sent a text stating that we were going to cancel the order and release the carriers spot he was holding for you until we heard back from you. It is a way for us to get you to communicate.. and you did. You texted me back. I then asked if you wanted us to reactive the order. All we ask is for communication so the carriers aren’t left waiting and losing time and money. You didn’t call us on our game. Our fee or quote never changed. You weren’t charged anything, so there is no game. The carriers requested more on the route, we didn’t. Then to find out you leave us a negative BBB because you didn’t communicate or read your terms. We wish you well on your future transport.
It states very clearly in our terms and conditions in the shipping invoice that you receive when you place your order:
IMPORTANT CONSUMER NOTICE Due to the instability of the current price of diesel fuel, there may be a price increase to your original quote. Auto Shipping Group Inc. will contact you first to advise you of the increased cost. Choosing this option will ensure your vehicle will be transported in a timely manner. However, you will always have the option to continue looking for a carrier at the original quoted price with the understanding that it will most likely take longer than originally anticipated. You do have the option to cancel your order without cost or obligation.
