Car Shipped Fine; Communication Iffy

Arranged for car to be picked up on 9/1/15 and listed date of arrival was 9/7/15. Talked via phone with Justin from Plycar (the carrier) about pickup; he said 9/2 worked better for him if we could do that. I was okay with that and he came to pick up the car at my building on 9/2 with no issues. My girlfriend and I were mid-move and had many other things to worry about, so we took the 9/7 estimated arrival date at face value and assumed we'd get the car then (pickup location was Easton, PA near my girlfriend's parents' home; we moved to Philadelphia, about 75 miles and 1 hour 20 minute drive from Easton in no traffic). On 9/7 (Labor Day) we woke up in Philly, still having heard nothing indicating we wouldn't get our car that day, and drove to Easton. We stopped for breakfast at around 11am near Easton, and I called Justin to see what time we could pick up the car. To my surprise, he said that he was pretty sure the driver doesn't work on Labor Day and we couldn't get the car til the next day. He gave me the driver's number and told me he would try to work on the situation also. I texted and called the driver, heard nothing back after an hour (driver was indeed off work for Labor Day; not blaming him at all), then called Justin back to see what was up. Only then did he make some calls and arrange for the car to be picked up ASAP, which turned out to be the next morning. The car itself was in great shape and the enclosed carrier was a very nice vehicle, but the lack of communication or accountability after the fact really bothered me. All in all I'd probably tell a friend that Auto Shipping Group is fine to use, but to be very on top of communication and proactive, since it's apparently not a priority for them to communicate well to the customer.
