Summary line: My car was transported on time and I received that on time.
I paid more money than initial Quote to have the timely delivery.
Total I paid $1040 out of which $850 went to the carrier and the rest to Auto Shipping Group

The whole steps were like following
1. I negotiated one rate close to $900 mentioning my shipping date from CA and my expected delivery date in MA. this quote was around $100 less compared to the closets bid from another company of same rating. i wanted to ship my Honda Fit car from CA to MA and had 12 days for the car to reach MA.

2. After few hours I received a call from agent for around $500 extra fee to pick a truck. i declined that

3. again after few hours I got a call from agent for around $150 extra fee to pick a truck. I found myself no other choice but to accept that. However I found this very surprising!!!

4. Deal was made, Then I get a paper saying when my pickup and delivery date will be. Surprisingly both dates were different than I was initially told. And the promised delivery date was multiple days late than my requirement.

5. Then the truck came as per the last paper and they delivered the car before time, hence at the end I got my car as per my travel plan. I really thank NATIONWIDE TRANSPORT INC(the carrier) for their great service.

So my ranking here is solely based on the fact that Auto Shipping group Agent Found me a good carrier and my end goal was met.

BTW I could ship some pillows in the trunk of the car, and they were all okay when I recieved the Car

I am happy that we were able to find a carrier on that route and get you a better deal than what had previously been coming in. This industry can be tricky as its not as easy as calling a cab and many variables come into play.
