Pick-up instructions were not followed

The initial quote, follow-up and general information were excellent. The customer service reps are very good at getting the business. However, the pick-up instructions were not followed. The result was that my first driver did not arrive at the designated pick-up spot and left my auto waiting to be picked up. The company charged me another dispatch deposit to get another driver there to pick up my car.

I explained to my customer service rep that I was leaving my car and keys at my auto tech's garage. I specifically highlighted the open for business hours so that the driver would be able to pick up during regular business hours. I asked my customer service rep to call me when the driver was ready to pick up the car. Instead, the driver called the place of business. When he did not get an answer, he assumed that the auto was unavailable for pick up. In fact, the auto was there, ready for pick up and the auto tech was awaiting arrival of the driver. As I wrote earlier, the driver continued on to his next pick-up, without my car.

The second driver, for which I had to pay an additional deposit, was great. He called me. He picked the car up. And he delivered my auto early. The care was in excellent condition. Too bad that the original contracted driver ruined my opinion of this company.

This review is not truthful, undeserved and more importantly, Mr. Moore clearly states his criticism is with the driver, not ASA. Further, the driver called 24 hours in advance, could not reach them, left messages & nobody returned his calls. He could not wait any longer. ASA, had to re-dispatch.
