The service that is advertised on the Autorail website compared to what you actually receive are two very different things. I had my vintage car delivered from Kelowna, BC to Toronto, ON. Basically, things went wrong right from the beginning. We were told to have the car dropped off with "Kevin" at a car dealership in Kelowna. My uncle brought the car to the dealership and Kevin had no idea what was going on and did not want my car sitting on his lot. Once everything was sorted out a few days later, the car was left at the dealership and picked up a few days after that - so already the pickup was about a week late. The Autorail website says that they can check the whereabouts of the car at any time on the CN tracking system. This was not the case at all. I asked three times for a status update and did not receive an answer once. After continuous follow up a month after the car was picked up, I was able to determine that the car was accidentally dropped off in Montreal. It was sitting there for two weeks before I finally got someone's attention and they arranged to ship it to Toronto. I'm not sure what would have happened if I didn't follow up... All in all it was a brutal experience and I would never recommend Autorail to anyone.
