This order was misshandled and poorly communicated from the start. I was originally told that the car would be picked up on Thursday 1/20, that day came and went with now communication from a driver despite the assurance from dispatch that I would be called after 5.

When I called dispatch on Friday morning I was told the driver would be contacting me shortly for pick up that day. At noon when I still had not heard anything from a driver, I spoke with my salesperson Reggie who told me that a driver had not yet been located, but I would hear from dispatch when a driver was sourced.

Friday afternoon 1/21, the dispatcher, Alex called to tell me that the first driver's wife went into labor and he flew home to be with her. That is nice that he was able to do that, but what about the other customers vehicles that we still on his truck that he abandoned somewhere. Despite loosing the first driver, dispatch assured me that they had sourced another and that the new driver would be picking up on Monday 1/24.

Monday came and went with no communication from a driver. The several times I tried to contact dispatch my call was disconnected while being transferred.

Tuesday morning I rang dispatch again and after 3 attempts I was able to get through. There I was given a contact number for the driver Constantine. Upon calling this number I reached Constantine's wife, who informed me that he had come down with food poisoning on Monday and would be making the pickup today.

Throughout the process with every person I spoke with at Auto Cars Transportation I expressed the importance of this car being in the destination of Hartford, CT by Thursday 1/27 by noon, as after that no one would be available to receive the car until Monday 2/7.

Constantine's wife assured me again that this would not be an issue, and that once her husband got moving today, he would contact my fiancee to arrange pickup. When he did finally contact her on Tuesday 1/25, he informed her that the car would not be delivered to CT until 3PM on Thursday at the latest.

This will not work. I am very unhappy with the way that this has played out. This order has now cancelled as I lost confidence in their ability to arrange the transportation of my vehicle, my vehicle and will be looking elsewhere to arrange transportation in Feb. We will see if my deposit is refunded or if I will need to dispute the charge.

Hi Adam, what readers need to take from your review is that no matter what broker they use to get a carrier delays can happen. When the carrier does not call you, a broker does not have a special number to reach them on. You would have had the same result no matter which broker arranged the carrier. We only use carriers with good feedback from other brokers. Delays like this rarely happen, but can happen no matter which broker you use.
