As a first time customer for this type of service, I requested a quote from many companies and went with the lowest bid. Assurance Auto was not the lowest bidder. The company I first chose had my vehicle for 2 weeks with no confirmation of movement for the vehicle. I received a follow-up email from Assurance inquiring if my vehicle still required transporting. On Thursday I spoke with Joe, who was very knowledgeable about his business. I explained my frustration with the situation. He confirmed my vehicle was not moving due to the fact that the offer to ship was too low for a driver to consider taking. Joe said he could get my vehicle picked up on Monday and delivered by Thursday, but the cost would be a couple of hundred dollars more to give a driver enough incentive to pickup and deliver, since New England to Nebraska is not a popular shipping lane. I accepted his offer and within an hour of our initial contact, I had commitment of shpping my vehicle. It arrved ahead of schedule with no problems.
In summary, if you want to ship your vehicle without hassle and get delivery on or ahead of schedule, I strongly recommend you consider Assurance Auto Transport. Your shipping costs will not be the lowest, but you will be dealing with professionals who follow through. I am not being compensated in any way to make these statements.
