Good experience with Angels

When I called, I immediately got a live CSR (a change from many of the other brokers I had contacted). In about 10 minutes, they gave me a quote and found a carrier to transport my car from CA to NJ. My dealings with Angels Moving Autos were pleasant and professional. I was always able to speak to a representative within a few minutes.

The carrier selected for me was Pioneer Auto Express. I would rate them about average. Pick up of my vehicle in CA was on time. However, delivery of my car was delayed by several days. I understand the nature of this business and that deliveries cannot always be made on time. Yet, I was never told that my car was behind schedule, I constantly had to call them to find out where my car was. They did call me on the day of delivery as promised. However, they told me the driver was "2 hours away" and that I should proceed to our meeting point. I waited in that parking lot for about 6.5 hour hours. I called Pioneer about every hour or so after our scheduled meeting time, everytime their reponse was he'll be there in 30 mins to an hour. They also gave me some story about another customer who didn't have his funds ready for the driver, so they had to go to the bank... (this was their reasoning for the truck arriving way behind their appointment time)

When I finally received my car, I found the driver to be friendly and professional. I asked him about the incident with the other customer and he knew nothing about it. My conclusion about Pioneer is that there is some sort of disconnect between the office and driver about his location. Yet, when the office workers are pressed for a reason why they are behind schedule, they fabricate some story to save face.
