This is the first time that I ever needed to get a vehicle transported. Let me tell you, I did my home work (quotes, phone interviews, researched and reading of reviews of each company). I purchased a vehicle in California (site unseen), and needed it transport to where I live in Alabama. I purchased the vehicle 3 days before Christmas. I originally went with another company that was very professional, and like ANGELS MOVING AUTOS, didn't require an up front deposit. This other company was $100 bucks cheaper. 10 days went by, and I never heard from them, even after I tried contacting them. On Jan. 3rd I called Dina back at ANGELS MOVING AUTOS because of what she said to me in a phone interview I had with her on a earlier date. She explained the whole pricing "game". I got quotes for this move from about $700-$1200 bucks. At first I was only looking at the lowest quotes. They all wanted an upfront deposit. Dina informed me that the vehicle would probably sit for quite some time, and if lucky the vehicle would be picked up as a last resort from some non-english speaking, unexperienced driver who doesn't take the time to communicate while the vehicle is in tranit. I started thinking about the fact that I had already purchased this vehicle for a bunch of money, and I haven't even seen it. To me trying to save$200-$300 bucks on the transit made me look like an idiot. From here I called ANGELS MOVING AUTOS back an accepted there quote of $975. Dina said that she would call me when they had a driver assigned, and that is when a deposit would be required. Surprisingly, Dina called me back in about 20 minutes and said the vehicle was going to be picked up that same day. At first I thought that it was a scam to get a deposit. I agreed to it with the terms that she would provide me with the trucking company's contact information immediately. Dina said no problem. I called them, and the driver was english speaking and very professional. They said that they would have my vehicle to me within 5 days. Once the vehicle was in transit I had Mellissa from ANGELS MOVING AUTOS and the driver calling me on an almost daily occurance. Communication was great!! The driver and his wife (JACK and PAT) were fantastic. I actually could have gotten my vehicle a day early. The vehicle was dirty when delivered. Think about it...it was an open carrier that traveled through rain and snow. When you think of ANGELS MOVING AUTOS you might think of some attractive, female sweethearts. After this experience, when I thought of ANGELS MOVING AUTOS, I thought of Angels sent from above...who were attractive, female sweethearts. I have already programmed there number in my phone for future use. I promise that you will not be disappointed in this company. I will also say that I DID NOT get any incentives to write this review.
