I had originally thought moving a car across country wouid be simple. You hire a transport company and the car is picked up and delivered. Then I did some research and the horror stories emerged. What I had thought would be a simpe hire became weeks of online research. Finally, mostly based on the reviews I found here and talking to the women at Angels myself, I went with Angels and boy did it paid off. They were competitively priced ($850 from Tampa, FL to Los Angeles CA), and they accepted credit card payments for the WHOLE amount with only a nominal fee ($25) which covered what the credit card company charged them. I had been warned that when you use a credit card drivers aren't as likely to want to ship your car because they don't get cash on delivery. I was assured that Angels had great relationships with their drivers and that the drivers knew the check really was in the mail and that there would be no problem with my car being picked up. There wasn't. The day after I signed the agreement my car was scheduled for pick up and the driver they found was great. He arrived days ahead of schedule and was in touch by cell several times the last two days before he arrived. He literally dropped the car off a block away from where I was having dinner that night. The car was in perfect shape and the whole process was as easy as I had originally thought it would - and should - be. I would use Angels again in a heartbeat. Don't waste hours of time doing anymore research....call them, relax because you're in good hands, and do something a hell of a lot more fun than research auto movers!
