On the day of pickup that i was assured of by the broker and shipper, i got a call about 6 hours after the shipper informed me the driver would call. And the driver informed me he could get there at midnight, which i declined so we set up a time for 8am the next day. Bear in mind it was 20 miles to where i had to get the car out of storage for the shippers in maryland. So i got up drove over and basically waited for 2 hours at the storage place because they didnt show up at the time agreed. Initially the driver called tried to get me to bring the vehicle to a home depot for pick up which i was not going to do (door to door is what i paid for and not terminal). Eventually the driver got there picked up the car, i informed them of the earliest i could take delivery at the next location in california. So then i get a call about two days later asking if they could deliver the car a day earlier than when i told them, so i made my drive up from so cal (where i was visiting my parents before having to be in school for the next year) to nor cal a day early. We had agreed upon 10pm, and then of course, they changed it to midnight (clearly they undershoot everytime). Then once again the driver tried to make me pick up my vehicle at another home depot down the freeway. And let me tell you, the area is suggested is not a good one to be in a night. Once i again i declined (at this point this was pissing me off because if i wanted terminal service i would have done that), and i found place nearer to my house for me to recieve my car. So then when the driver got there they proceeded to start up my car (a 66 mustang), jam the gas down and reverse it off there truck. WHO THE HECK DOESNT KNOW YOU HAVE TO WARM UP THESE CARS! Then the driver complained to me that my car hadnt gone into reverse easy enough. I told him it needed to be warmed up for 10 minutes or so. He flat out told me (with a truck with only one other car on it at midnight) he didnt have time to warm up my car (10 minutes!!). Pretty rude in my opinion. I might use the broker again, but would not allow them to use the same shipper.
