Well, the first thing I would think to say, is that you should put some stock in the companies that find your drivers to shift your car, but that not much, as they are all basically brokers, and charge a fee for facilitating your transport.
What made Angels stand out in my experience, was that they were able to get within one to two days of my desired pick-up, which was a big deal to me. $150 as their brokerage fee is fair, and their overwhelming positive reviews are also nice.
When shipping your car, you don't want to go with the lowest cost necessarily, as you may be getting poorer service, and the actual auto shipper will get less. Please remember, the people shipping your car, they have your baby, you want them to take care of it.
The staff at Angels were polite to me, and were concientious, but not overbearing in their communication with me.
The other thing is, ALL shipping companies go to the same database to find available drivers, so they don't have that much influence. They wait until a driver is posted on the database, and hope to grab him first.
I ended up getting my car transported by Mr. Rooster's Transport, they were the company Angels found to ship my vehicle. The driver got pretty close to my desired pick up spot, which was fine, but was a little rude to me in person. I wanted to get him in the video of me taking a video of us looking at the car, to confirm that it was infact him. He flat out said no, "I will NOT be in this video" which was a little rude, but at that point, you're screwed, because unless you have flexibility in moving your car, you need him to move it for you then and there.
The actual shipping of my car occured in what I thought was a reasonable time, and my car made it from Los Angeles to Cleveland in fine condition.
I would recommend Angels Moving Autos to a friend.
