This was a disatrous experience... First of all, as soon as I signed and sent the contract, the Angels (not so "Angels") quit answering my calls. That's when I knew that something wrong was going to happen. The carrier was 2 days late. Initially, they were going to be "on time". The driver called me on the day of the scheduled pick up date to say that he was coming at 2pm to pick up my vehicle. I did not hear from him until 11pm that day. When he called, he wanted to arrange the pick up for the next day and I agreed. I waited ALL day that next day but he never showed up. Since he had no courtesy to call and let me know what the situation was, I tried calling him numerous times but no answer. I also tried calling Angels for assistance but they did not answer either. Finally, at 4:30AM on the third day, I got a call from the driver to say that he was able to pick up "Right now". Oh the story gets even better. He wanted me to meet him at a location near the highway... Because the vehicle needed to be shipped right away, I woke up immediately to DELIVER the vehicle to this driver. *sigh*. I have also been informed by the recipient of the vehicle that the driver was extremely rude to her.
FYI the Angels company and the carrier, American Autos, really messed up my travel plans--I had informed them from the beginning over the phone that I had an out-of-state business trip. Needless to say, I had to cancel it. To this date, I have not received any apology from neither company. Communication from these two companies are terrible. (But Hilton auto transport was even worse... It was difficult to get a hold of them from the beginning, i.e. requesting a quote, plus they were super rude. Hence, I used Angels...)
If I have to do this all over again, I will not use Angels. So do yourself a favor by avoiding this company.
ADDITIONAL INFORAMTION BY REVIEWER
I am writing in response to the following thread:
1) The car had NOT been "sitting for 35 days because another company never picked it up" as this representative claimed. I first contacted Angels on August 11, 2006, signed the contract, and faxed the contract all on the same date for the car to be picked up on August 18, 2006. Hence, there was never a 35 day window. I still have all the paperwork including the contract that was sent to me from Angels via email on August 11, 2006, signed contract that was faxed to Angels on that date, and the form that was given to me by the carrier with the driver's signature which indicates my car was picked up on August 20, 2006.
2) If this representative knew what he/she was writing in his/her comments below, he/she should have known better. I am NOT a male customer. If this person directly spoke with me over the phone, this would have been obvious. I can tell from the comments written that this representative was definitely not in the position to write such a response. The fact that this person never had a conversation with me confirms that my calls were indeed unanswered.
3) I have still not received an apology from this company. I'd like to reiterate that unless customer service improves significantly, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

In response to Mik's 0 star review, first let me tell you he contacted us after his car had already been sitting for 35 days because another company never picked it up. We sensed immediately that this man would be very difficult to please. We located a carrier the next day, and his vehicle was going to be picked up shortly afther his inititial call, unlike his first experience.
Our office always answers all calls, to say we did not answer his calls is untruthful. This customer was not going to be please no matter who shipped his car. It is always a regret to us when a customer is displeased with our service.
