Angels Moving Autos was hired to move my car from Florida to Georgia. They were able to find a driver to pickup next day. On the day of pickup, I called driver to confirm and he kept making excuses and finally I called driver and he said that his truck had broken down in Florida and that because of the bad economy it would be several days before he would be able to get parts to fix his truck. I immediately called Angels Moving Autos who found another company within a day. That driver was better ... but he appeared to be a not-so experienced driver. I found out after the fact that he didn't feel comfortable driving the truck to the dealership so he drove my car from the dealership to wherever his truck was parked (something I didn't authorize). On the day before delivery, he called me at 8a to tell me that he was in town but that he was tired so he would drop off car the next day. I was ok with that. But then he told me that he wouldn't be able to bring the truck to my house because I lived in suburbia and that I had 2 options: (1) drive 40 miles to where the truck was parked and pick up my vehicle; or (2) he could have his wife drive my vehicle to my house. Given the short notice, I didn't have much choice in the matter. In any case, if you are a truck driver, I don't expect you to pull up to my house but at least you should be able to get within 1-2 miles of house on a main road. Angels Moving Autos is a good company with decent prices but I am not so confident on the drivers that they hire.
