Angels Moving Auto was great, Sherman and Son was AWFUL!

We have used Angels Moving Auto twice to transport vehicles. The quote they gave us was the price that we paid - no "hidden" fees or adds ons. They are very professional and responsive and they are very proactive in their communication. However, they are only the agent for the actual transport company - they hand off the actual transport to other companies. My vehicle was transported by Sherman and Son, who was absolutely awful. They were a day later than they had told me, went to the wrong address although I had verified the address multiple times, showed up two blocks away and unloaded my car in front of someone else's house in the pouring rain at night. During transport, the driver had brought the top level of the transport vehicle down onto my convertible top, causing damage to the top and the windshield. However, since the vehicle was absolutely filthy and was delivered in the dark in a downpour, I didn't find the damage until two days later when I washed off the grime. Fixing it will cost over $1000 and since it was not reported until 2 days after the delivery, it is not covered. Additionally, the driver had left the side window down in the rain and the interior of the car was soaked. It was evident that they had no interest in whether the car was damaged or not. The personnel at Sherman and Son spoke limited English and were extremely difficult to communicate with. I would strongly recommend against using them unless your car is already in sad shape. I would absolutely work with Angels again, but I would never consider Sherman and Son as the transport company under any circumstances.
