Just too much difficulty.

This is the letter I submitted to Angels Moving Autos and pretty much sums up my experience.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I just wanted to drop a note expressing my displeasure
with the service and responses to my concerns by both
Angels Moving Autos and FHT Transport, the
subcontractor who moved my car.
1) FHT Transport telephoned me on 5/23 stating they
did not have a truck available to pick up my car at my
address in Washington, DC. After much haggling and
several phone calls on my part in order to procure a
ride; it was agreed on that I would drop my car off at
FHT's terminal in Rockville, MD on 5/24 at ~2PM, about
a 45min drive from my address in minimal traffic. The
following day, 5/24 at 9AM I received a phone call
from the driver of the truck (name?) who was in the DC
area and was awaiting my car, though he stated I
needed to drive my car to him in MD otherwise it would
not get shipped. After telephoning Rick, the supposed
manager at FHT to check on this info., which he seemed
confused about. I rearranged my schedule, took of
work, procured a ride back, and drove about 30min into
MD to meet him then followed him for about 30min
before finally turning my car over to him. That is
issue #1.
2)The receival party in Southern California received a
telephone notification that my car had left DC on 5/25
in the afternoon. He and the driver agreed upon June
4th as the delivery date. Then magically on 5/27 in
the AM, two days later. Both the receival party and
myself received phone calls from the driver stating
the car was in Southern CA and ready to be delivered.
We are not sure if it was a different driver but he
seemed to have no recollection of the previous
conversation and agreed upon date. After much
discussion and confusion it was again decided that
June 4th would be the delivery date. Continuing on
5/30 while I was boarding a plane I received another
phone call from the driver stating he wished to
deliver the car, as with the 27th I stated no one was
there in LA to receive the car as it was Memorial Day
weekend. We again discussed when I would arrive in LA
and June 4th, my arrival date was again agreed upon as
the delivery date. Well on June 4th I arrived in LA,
and the receival party received a phone call from the
driver stating he would be unable to deliver the car
and would have it there on 6/5 in the afternoon. On
6/5 I telephoned the driver, who stated he was having
delays and would delivery the car that evening late or
on the morning of 6/6. After no delivery, on the
morning of 6/6 I spoke with him again and he assured
me he would have it there that evening. Well finally
at 10:45PM on 6/6 he delivered my car to me. I
received with much frustration, unable to really
examine it for damage as it was dark, and signing a
blank duplicate invoice form as he had lost my
original. Issue #2.
So after so much confusion and frustration I had
spoken with Stephanie at Angels on 6/5 about my
experiences, notifying her of this companies lack of
communication and leadership, as I was never able to
get ahold of the FHT manager again only the driver. I
also requested a discount or small refund for my
troubles, since I had contracted for door to door
service and did not receive it. I also informed her I
had received a quote from AAA Auto Transport for the
same amount, and that they had shipped a classmates
car from DC to Southern CA with complete door to door
service, and complete communication in between. No
trouble. Ironically their driver used the deadend
street 1 block from my house to pickup the car, yet
the FHT driver had informed me he could not drive his
truck into DC and furthermore had no location to load
the car. Funny huh? Finally after speaking with
Stephanie I had some relief as she stated she would
speak with the driver and then see about getting me a
small refund. It was at that time that the driver
finally called me and informed of definitive delivery
by the evening of 6/6. On 6/6 I tried to reach
Stephanie again regarding the refund, however spoke
with another woman who told me Angels was not able to
issue refunds, I would have to contact FHT and that
basically I should be happy my car would arrive. I
was not able to get ahold of Rick, the manager at FHT
to discuss the refund, and when I brought it up with
the driver he stated he would keep my car unless I
paid him the full amount. Thus I basically paid the
full $1100 ($200 to you, $900 to FHT) and got horrible
service for it with no retribution for my
inconveniences. I doubt this will get much of a
response in the way of financial restitution, though I
wish Angels to know two things. One I believe you
should stop using FHT Transport as a subcontractor,
and two I will never recommend your service to any
other classmates or anyone looking to ship their car.
The entire experience was frustrating to the point of
exhaustion, and still cost me full price.
I guess a thanks is in order for finally getting my
car to Southern California,
